Students' Experiences
Yi Xincheng - Harvard University and Fudan University

Tracing a path from Fudan to Harvard with The University of Hong Kong as my foundation, I immerse myself in the rich harvest of Chinese literature and its glorious scholarly lineage, savoring the beauty and depth of literature at every step of the journey.

Ayaka Takamizawa - Leiden University

My exchange at Leiden University was a season of canals, cycling, late-night conversations, and new perspectives. I learnt how to feel at home far away while growing into a more curious and confident version of myself.

Cecilia Chan - National Taiwan University

Studying at NTU enhanced my Mandarin skills and adaptability, enriching my academic and personal growth through diverse challenges and international experiences, and preparing me for a dynamic, trilingual workplace.

Wong Yui Pan - National University of Singapore

Cracking through massive deadlines with the best students at NUS and visiting the landmarks made it unforgettable. Hard work and banter, loved it. I genuinely learned tons!

Zhou Yi - Oxford University

The immersive environment at Oxford sparked my passion for Art History and prompted me to pursue it in my second year. What I cherish most about studying at HKUArts is its immense flexibility and cross-disciplinary freedom, and the curriculum encourages me to explore diverse fields and continuously refine my academic journey.

Zoe Durand - Université de Montréal

What I experienced in Montréal was priceless. I was well integrated into a community who welcomed me with open arms the moment I joined. Though it was cold, people were warm. Université de Montréal had plenty of activities and they were exchange student-friendly as well. The courses I took were really interesting too!

Lauren Cooke - Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3

Getting out of my comfort zone, I was able to immerse myself in a new culture, meet new people, travel to new places, and have new experiences.

Kenneth Ng - University of Essex

The Essex exchange challenged me to think critically across cultures and brought my studies to life. From archives to student media, it transformed my History and Journalism learning into a truly global experience.
