Meet HKUArts’ new mascot, Hartie!
2026-10-30

Inspired by Arts and Hearts, our new mascot Hartie embodies the spirit of “Studying Arts with Hearts.” Driven by curiosity, creativity, and courage, Hartie represents bold ideas, critical thinking, and a passion for exploration.

Featuring a lightning motif that symbolizes innovation, intelligence, and fresh perspectives, and a shield representing resilience and determination, Hartie champions the HKUArts values of inquiry, imagination, and impact. With sparks in the eyes, Hartie inspires us to push beyond boundaries, embrace new possibilities, and unlock the transformative power of Arts.
