HKUArts vision is:
- To advance innovative, high-impact, and leading-edge research within and across the humanities and other disciplines, through a research strategy underpinning the Faculty’s distinctive brand of Asia-West scholarship and supporting its role as an international ‘forum’;
- To innovate through the integration of research in the Arts and humanities with new and emerging regimes of technical knowledge, particularly AI. Artificial intelligence presents a transformative opportunity for the humanities, reshaping not only our research methodologies but also the very questions we ask and the way we educate future generations. As a faculty, we are committed to establishing ourselves as global leaders in integrating, researching, and teaching AI within the humanities.
