HKUArts Internship offers rewarding internship opportunities to undergraduate Arts students from diverse disciplines. Through internships, students can apply classroom learning to real-world scenarios, gaining practical experience that informs career decisions.

Embedded within select credit-bearing internship courses across various programmes, internships provide Arts students with a unique opportunity to gain solid work experience while earning academic credits. This integrated approach equips students with both valuable practical skills and academic recognition as they navigate their future career paths at the same time.​

Join the “She Inspires” Mentorship Programme to Become the Mentees of Female CEOs and Corporation Partners | Deadline: 30 Apr

The “She Inspires” Mentorship Programme (the Programme), launched by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau (HYAB) and the Women’s Commission (WoC), helps local female university students who aspire to pursue a career in the professional or business sectors to build the necessary skills, confidence, and network for them to thrive in their future career.

As a mentee of the Programme, you will:

  • Gain guidance from your women leader mentor, empowering you to chart a clear path for your career and personal planning.
  • Enhance the essential skills for your future career.
  • Expand your network.

Eligibility

An eligible mentee must meet the following criteria:

  1. Female students (excluding first-year students and final-year undergraduates) studying full-time bachelor’s degree programmes at a local university (see note) in the 2025/26 academic year;
  2. Permanent residents of Hong Kong or Hong Kong identity cardholders who are currently registered as full-time students in Hong Kong;
  3. Aspire to pursue a career in the professional or business sectors;
  4. Demonstrate good conduct and outstanding academic / extra-curricular performance; and
  5. Passionate in serving the community.

Note

The 12 local universities are City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, Lingnan University, Saint Francis University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Education University of Hong Kong, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and The University of Hong Kong (listed in alphabetical order).

Programme Period

Each cohort of the Programme will last for one year.  The activities of the first cohort is expected to commence in July 2025 and conclude in June 2026.

Please submit the completed Part I of the application form via HKU Online Application Submission.

Selection

  1. The university will shortlist the applications and provide nominations to the Home Affairs Branch of the HYAB.
  2. The HYAB and the WoC will consider the nominations and invite selected nominees to an interview.  The interviews are tentatively scheduled for June 2025.
  3. Applicants are required to present the original copies of identity and academic credentials during the interview for verification purposes.
  4. Applicants who do not show up for the interviews will not be considered.
  5. Those who are not invited for interview may assume their applications unsuccessful.
​Relevant Training and Activities

In addition to mentor-mentee matching, the HYAB will also arrange different training, visits and group activities (such as those related to career planning, soft skills, business etiquette, industry sharing and visit, etc.) for mentees to enhance their skills and job-hunting techniques to prepare them for their career.

2025 HSBC Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme (GBA YES)

The annual partnership with the HKSAR government - HSBC Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme (GBA YES) is now open for application.

It is an 18-month graduate programme for students who are legally employable in Hong Kong (except IANG students), allowing them to have work rotations in the Greater Bay Area.

The 13th University Scholars Leadership Symposium 2025

August 5-8, 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Humanitarian Affairs Asia is hosting the 13th University Scholars Leadership Symposium (USLS) in August 2025, and we are now open for application!

USLS is dedicated to empowering future leaders with compassion, resilience, and purpose. It is more than a symposium – it is a transformative platform where young leaders engage with global issues, develop leadership skills, and foster a vision for a better world.  A highlight of the USLS is Kindness Day, where participants actively serve local communities, fostering empathy and global citizenship through environmental, educational, and social initiatives. Up to 7 Arts students will be nominated to participate in USLS from August 5-8, 2025 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Students of all disciplines and years are encouraged to apply.

香港多媒體設計協會(HKMMDA)誠摯地邀請學生參加本年度的3TRIP年內地實習體驗計劃 2025。本計劃歡迎香港大專院校各學科的學生參加。這次計劃將為學生提供寶貴的實踐機會和多元文化體驗,助力未來職業發展和個人成⻑。

作為特別因香港⻘年需要而設計的深度內地體驗實習項目,本計劃以【國家發展新機遇】為主題,透過提供內地實習機 會給有志體驗內地生活、渴望跳出舒適圈的香港⻘年,加深香港⻘年對中國社經環的了解,讓參加者親身體驗和認識中 國的發展趨勢。實習地點分別為中國的兩大經濟與文化中心:

北京:以「多媒體」及「城市更新」為主題,當中「社區治理」特別適合希望了解內地公務員體系及社區規劃的學 生,為日後投身公共服務及相關專業奠定基礎。 上海:以「多媒體」、「廣告」及「文化創意」為主題,適合對活動、設計、創意及品牌推廣有興趣的學生,提供 深入了解創意產業的實戰機會。

計劃圍繞「兩地交流」、「認識國家」、「專業考察」三個宗旨,在實習過程中,參加者將有機會在崗位上司指導下參 與真實項目,從而接觸真實營商環境和實踐專業知識技能,拓寬個人視野。計劃還將包括一系列的前置培訓和活動,將 在 4-6 月期間進行,包括工作坊、訓練營和交流會,以確保參加者能夠充分地準備身心迎接實習的挑戰。計劃的實習日 期為 6-8 月期間,計劃在地日數為 34 日,實習工作日數不少於 20 天。實習體驗完成後將有一個分享會總結成果。
