Internship Scheme (from 2026–27)

CHIN2322 Internship in Translation (capstone experience) (6 credits)
This internship course provides students with a capstone learning experience, allowing them to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting. Through experiential learning, students engage in meaningful work with an organisation that makes a tangible impact on society. This course bridges academic learning and professional practice, equipping students with practical skills and a deeper understanding of workplace dynamics. Students are responsible for securing a suitable internship opportunity from a list of approved industry partners, in consultation with the course coordinator. The duration of the internship ranges from 120 to 130 hours of service, depending on the arrangement with the host organisation. Assessment is based on a performance evaluation by the host organisation and a written reflection report by the student.
Assessment: 100% coursework.
