Professor Geng Song, Faculty Board Chair Professor, Professor at the School of Chinese and Programme Director of the Master of Arts in the field of Translation (MAT) Programme at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), was honoured at the HKU Excellence Awards Presentation Ceremony for 2025 held on Thursday, 30 April 2026. This award recognizes his exceptional mentorship and commitment to supporting and guiding his students in their pursuit of research excellence.
The ceremony, officiated by HKU President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Xiang Zhang, with Pro-Chancellor Dr the Honourable Sir David Li Kwok Po as the Guest of Honour, celebrated outstanding achievements of HKU scholars in teaching, research, and knowledge exchange between HKU and society.
