Application for HKU undergraduate students

Students should read and follow the instructions below prior to enrolling your preferred course(s).

For non-final-year students (BA or non-BA):

Please select the suitable course(s) on Student Information System during the add/drop period (June 14 to 21, 2022). 

For final-year students (BA or non-BA), please follow the steps below:

Step 1

Submit the application by filling in the online form, https://hku.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cwKcwYJXOZmERMO (Submission Deadline: June 21, 2022, 7:00am)

Step 2  Your home faculty will confirm on the outstanding credits that you need for the completion of your degree studies. You do not need to contact the course-offering department(s)/coordinator(s) while we are processing your request.
Step 3

Upon approval, the Summer Institute in the Art & Hummanities will inform your home faculty to enrol the summer course(s) for you.

Important Notes

  • All courses are taught in English.
  • All HKU students must attend the classes on campus 
  • HKU students applying for the summer semester courses offered by the Faculty of Arts should be aware that individual courses will not open if there is insufficient enrolment. Students should take this into consideration when drawing up their second semester 2021-2022 study plan.
  • HKU final-year students should take note that application is success upon the outstanding credits are confimed by home faculty.
  • HKU students are not required to pay for both the application fee and programme fee. 
  • The Faculty of Arts reserves the right to change or cancel any of these courses without further notice.
