Summer Institute in the Arts & Humanities
The Faculty of Arts offers short-term programmes throughout the year to students at different levels of studies.
In 2023, we offer face-to-face classes for Summer Institute in the Arts & Humanities. The theme of the combination of humanities and digital technologies is across most of our carefully selected courses in the disciplines of Buddhism, English Studies, Global Creative Industries and History. Students from all over the world will have the opportunities to interact with classmates and award-winning academics while pursuing academic advancement. Programmes at undergraduate and high-school levels are now open for application.
HKU and Arts Faculty have attained reputation and recognition worldwide. HKU ranks 21st in the world and 3rd in Asia by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) University Rankings 2023, and 1st in world's most international universities, 30th in the world and 4th in Asia by Times Higher Education University Rankings 2022. HKU Linguistics ranks 10th by QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022.
