Behind Concrete Walls: Images of Migrant Women

8 May 2016

Photo Exhibition "Behind Concrete Walls: Images of Migrant Women" is held from 3 to 8 May 2016 on G/F Chi Wah Learning Commons. The members of the Social Education Group of Simon K.Y. Lee Hall present a photo exhibition showcasing the life of domestic workers in connection with their theme of “Diversity and Inclusion”. This is a project of Bethune House, a temporary shelter for foreign domestic workers in distress established in 1986 under the Mission For Migrant Workers, an outreach program of St. John’s Cathedral. Behind Concrete Walls by Xyza Cruz Bacani is supported by HerFund, Simon K. Y. Lee Hall Social Education Group, the University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Arts and the Women’s Studies Research Centre.
