In January of this year Hong Kong-born British poet Sarah Howe followed in the footsteps of literary greats, including Seamus Heaney and Ted Hughes, by winning the T.S. Eliot Prize for Poetry. Her winning debut collection, Loop of Jade, is an ambitious exploration of her dual Anglo-Chinese heritage, drawing on themes of identity and displacement. Howe is in conversation with Wendy Gan as part of the Second Century Lectures Series hosted by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Hong Kong.
