Mr Wallace Chan – Jewelry Creator

A world-renowned artist, Wallace Chan's innovations include The Wallace Cut (1987), the mastery of titanium, a patented jadeite technology, gemstone-setting-gemstone techniques, and The Wallace Chan Porcelain, a material five times stronger than steel. He was the first Chinese jewelry creator to exhibit at prestigious art fairs like The European Fine Art Fair (Maastricht 2016-2019, New York 2016 & 2017) and Biennale des Antiquaires (Paris, 2012 & 2014). His most recent solo exhibition was held at Christie's Gallery (Hong Kong, 2019).

Time is the most critical element when it comes to art creation and appreciation. In the age of information explosion, how does artist Wallace Chan interpret time? And how does he navigate through a world where human's attention spans are at risk of becoming too short for art?
