Online Faculty Talk on Course Selection with Q&A

Programme:	Faculty staff and Student Academic Advisers will advise you on the following: What should you consider when planning your courses? How many courses can you take in a semester? Main differences of stuyding in secondary school and University How will you use the add/drop period to keep or change your courses? ...
Remarks:	This online event will be conducted as scheduled in case of any bad weather* warning or announcement is hoisted or in force at or after 6:00 am.

* With reference to the University's arrangements during bad weather, bad weather refers to the following situations:

Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 (or above) is hoisted; or
Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 will be issued within two hours as announced by the Hong Kong Observatory; or
"Extreme conditions" after super typhoons are in force (announced by the Government before the Hong Kong Observatory replaces Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 with Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3); or
Black Rainstorm Signal is in force.

Details:	Introducing the benefits of joining HKU Arts Elite Scheme for Outstanding HKDSE Students (JS6054 BA) and the important schedules
Registration:	Students eligible to join the Elite Scheme will receive an email from the Faculty by August 15, 2022.
Remarks:	This online event will be conducted as scheduled in case of any bad weather* warning or announcement is hoisted or in force at or after 6:00 am.

Time:	3:45 pm - 5:45 pm (our staff will lead the relevant students to this session after the Faculty Induction Talk)

Details:	Introducing the BA(HDT) curriculum and students will be given the opportunity to chat with teachers and current students from BA(HDT).
Registration:	Students will receive an email from the Faculty by August 16, 2023.
