Arts Centenary publication: “Faculty of Arts 100: A Century in Words and Images”
The publication presents a history of the Faculty in both words and images and is aimed at a general audience. It not only provides information on the Faculty's development and place in Hong Kong, China and beyond, but also incorporates interesting anecdotes, quotes from staff, students and alumni, and plenty of photographs, to give the publication a livelier feel.
Our aim was for the book to be more than an account of our past 100 years. We wanted it to have a personal touch, because ultimately that is what the Faculty is all about, an appreciation of the joy and value of the Arts and what it means to be human. Chapters on the student learning experience and campus life, in particular, focus on the impressions and memories of students past and present. It is this spirit, passion and dedication that the publication attempts to capture, preserve and share.
