Louis Cha Postgraduate Research Fellowship
In 1986, Dr. Louis Cha contributed a generous sum of HK$8 million to establish a Louis Cha Fund for Chinese Studies and East/West Studies in the Faculty of Arts for supporting and promoting teaching and research in Chinese Studies and East/West Studies. In 2011, the Louis Cha Fund Committee of Management established the Louis Cha Postgraduate Research Fellowship to support PhD students in undertaking research activities overseas. A number of fellowships of up to HK$20,000 each will be awarded to PhD students in the Faculty of Arts whose field of study is in Chinese Studies or East/West Studies annually.
